Pet Shelter Volunteering

The Pet Shelter Volunteering committee goes to the Denton Animal Shelter to clean, feed, and play with the dogs and cats.  Some of the animals have not had much human contact, so we spend time with them to get them more comfortable with people.

There is a mandatory orientation on Saturday, November 17th for anyone who wants to volunteer at the shelter.  After going to the orientation, we will go to the shelter on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons, as well as Saturday mornings.

Time:

Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays : 3-5 pm

Saturdays : 8-10 am

Place: Denton Animal Shelter

Earnable Number of Hours: 2 hours each time

Hi guys, I’m Aish and I’m the committee head for pet shelter volunteering! I have volunteered at animal shelters since I was 13, but aside from that, I enjoy volunteering at nursing homes, hospitals, and for special olympics.
